ghaniya Almajrafi Macro photographer .. Member of the Omani Society of Arts My passion for photography started with my deep love for nature and observing its tiny, hidden details. I’ve always noticed beauty in things others might overlook, and that pushed me to pick up a camera to capture those magical moments. I began with simple steps, and over time, photography became an essential part of my daily life.

02

What truly moves and inspires you as an artist?

My biggest inspiration comes from the world of insects and fine details in nature. Their colors, shapes, and unique patterns always leave me in awe. I love revealing this hidden beauty to others. 3. How would you describe your photography style, and how has it evolved

03

over time?

My style leans toward artistic macro photography, focusing on fine details and giving them a poetic touch through light and composition. Over the years, I’ve learned to be more intentional with angles and timing to create images that tell a story.

04

Who or what has had the greatest influence on your artistic vision?

Nature itself has been my greatest teacher. In addition, following the work of talented local and international photographers has inspired me to shape my own unique vision.

05

What is your relationship with your camera and equipment?

My camera is more than just a tool—it’s my companion on this journey. Through it, I express my emotions and the way I see the world. I know how it reacts to every detail, and that harmony brings each shot to life. About the Winning Image

06

What is the story behind your winning image?

I captured this photo in a quiet moment in nature. I observed the insect patiently until it moved into a perfect position. It felt as if the moment spoke to me. I wanted to highlight the life and beauty of this tiny creature. 7. What was the most important decision you made when creating this

07

image?

The most important decision was to wait and not rush. Patience in macro photography makes all the difference, and waiting for the right moment gave the image its soul. 8. How did you use light, composition, or emotion to bring your vision to

08

life?

I relied on soft natural light and chose a low angle to allow viewers to see the world from the insect’s perspective. I kept the composition simple to emphasize the beauty in the details.

14

to share to help make it even better?

I truly appreciate NIPA’s efforts to support photographers. My suggestion is to create more opportunities for connection between photographers from different countries through workshops or virtual meetups. This would encourage knowledge exchange and strengthen the artistic community.
