2026 NIPA 2026

Confined

Partha Pratim RoySingapore

HONORABLE MENTION

People / Portrait

Entry type: Single

Emerging from deep shadow, a child’s unwavering gaze becomes the only source of light within the frame. The close composition and stark monochrome tones create a sense of physical and emotional confinement, while the illuminated eyes communicate quiet strength, vulnerability and an unspoken desire to be seen beyond the darkness.
