Locked in Power

Partha Pratim RoySingapore

HONORABLE MENTION

Nature / Wildlife

Entry type: Single

Two African elephants lock tusks in a dramatic contest of strength on the open plains of Amboseli, Kenya. With their trunks intertwined and the herd moving quietly behind them, the encounter reveals the complex social behaviour of these powerful animals. Rendered in black and white, the image emphasizes their immense forms, weathered skin and timeless presence.
