Entry type: Single

The rusted and marooned vessel‏ ‏Artemis‏ ‏sits stranded on the dried bed of Lake Urmia. Mismanagement of ‎water resources and climate change have transformed one of the world's largest saltwater lakes into a barren ‎salt flat. The intricate, radial formations of salt deposits surrounding the desolate ship gradually engulf its ‎remains—a stark visual symbol of total ecosystem collapse and severe environmental degradation.‎
