Confrontation

2026 NIPA 2026

Confrontation

zeinab mokhtariz.mokhtari666@gmail.com

HONORABLE MENTION

Minimalist

Entry type: Single

In this image, a human and a horse stand on opposite sides of a hill — two presences, wordless yet engaged in a profound conversation. The minimal landscape and the surreal color of the sky immerse the scene in silence, where the boundary between human and nature dissolves. This work is a meditation on distance and connection; on the solitude of the contemporary human before the natural world, and on the rare moment when silence itself becomes a language.
