Architectural Metamorphosis

2026 NIPA 2026

Architectural Metamorphosis

Stefan LenzAustria

HONORABLE MENTION

Architecture

Entry type: Series
Series: 4 photographs

This series explores how perspective can transform a single building. Using ultra-wide-angle compositions and carefully chosen viewpoints, the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart is stripped of its familiar appearance and reinterpreted as a collection of abstract geometric forms. Each image reveals a different identity – from a monumental monolith to a razor-sharp sculpture – demonstrating how light, angle and perspective redefine architectural perception.
