Morning on the Rocks

Morning on the Rocks

Thomas WederSwitzerland

HONORABLE MENTION

Nature / Wildlife

Entry type: Single

Three Pallas’s cats sit quietly on sun-warmed rocks near their den after enduring a bitterly cold night. Their thick fur catches the gentle morning sunlight as they slowly regain warmth. Huddled close to the shelter of their den, they remain alert while soaking up the precious heat. The peaceful scene captures a rare moment of comfort and togetherness in the harsh mountain wilderness.M
