Entry type: Single

That night was forecasted cloudy all over the sky, but we waited. Then slowly, the sky cleared and we saw the aurora in the background. The jagged peaks of Eystrahorn were rising like dark ancient guardians against the sky. The aurora borealis unfurled in a luminous emerald crown, dancing in slow waves across the heavens, while a shimmering stretch of the Milky Way spills silver light along the horizon. All felt otherworldly as if nature were whispering through the cold northern air.
