Midnight Passage

2026 NIPA 2026

Midnight Passage

Petr PoláchCzech Republic

HONORABLE MENTION

Mobile Photography

Entry type: Single

A solitary road bridge stretches into the darkness, illuminated only by a sequence of streetlights casting pools of light onto the wet asphalt. The strong perspective draws the eye towards a vanishing point, emphasizing a sense of journey into the unknown. The monochrome palette enhances the dramatic contrast between the artificial light and the encompassing night, creating a quiet, atmospheric scene.
