Light does the storytelling in this image as much as the family themselves. I always look for moments when nature seems to conspire with us. Here, the sun breaks through the canopy like a spotlight, and a father lifts his child straight into it. It's a picture about protection and joy in equal measure, and about how ordinary woodland walks can hold moments that feel almost cinematic.
