"Morocco, Sentimental Atlas" began as a search for the colors of her childhood, and became a tribute to a country of raw, enduring beauty. Ochre dominates everywhere: warming stone, deepening shadow, revealing texture in every detail. Scenes emerge as if painted, though they are simply the spontaneous compositions of everyday life—dense, radiant colors that map memory onto place, and past onto present.
