High up in the mountains of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda lies the home of the endangered mountain gorilla.This was the first gorilla I saw on my trek, an enormous silver back. As I was walking down the muddy slope, I slipped and fell and began sliding toward where this gorilla was resting. He seemed amused by me sliding , just barely coming to a stop before him. I scooted back from him and he and I continued to stare at each other. He, amused and me a little embarased
