Description
Landscape in Passing was photographed from within movement, allowing trees, vegetation and open land to dissolve into horizontal traces before the eye can fully fix them. The work shifts landscape photography from description towards perception. Blur and partial recognition evoke the embodied experience of travelling through space, turning photography from a means of freezing the world into one of recording its disappearance.
