Every year, the waters off Los Cabos, Mexico, become the stage for one of the ocean's most mesmerizing spectacles as thousands of mobula rays gather in enormous schools. Watching them glide effortlessly through shafts of sunlight feels less like observing fish and more like witnessing birds in flight beneath the sea. Capturing this image had been a dream of mine for years. I traveled halfway around the world, hoping to witness this rare aggregation.
