he Ever Alot belongs to a fleet of ultra-large container ships measuring 400 metres in length. When it entered service, it was the largest container ship in the world.
This photograph is actually composed of a large number of individual images. My aim was to depict the vessel as though it had been photographed from an infinite distance with an extremely powerful telephoto lens, eliminating the usual effects of perspective. With this visually flattening I want to convey the ships immense scale.
