This series explores an exclusive aspect of Hinduism - Gods on walls and pavements. They act as a failed deterrent against behaviors like spitting or urinating in public spaces. The miserable condition of these thrown-away gods is a critique of the individuals who claim authority over them while committing social and human atrocities. They have become an excuse for the politicization of religions. In essence, this series invites contemplation: Are these idols and religion itself above humanity?
