Description
The series traces Leipzig and its surrounding region as a palimpsest of belief, industry, housing, nature and contested progress. Tonal inversion estranges familiar places, revealing how monuments, lignite infrastructure, industrial relics and construction sites coexist within a city repeatedly rebuilt and reimagined. The sequence moves from historical memory to an open post-mining landscape, where transformation remains incomplete.
