This documentary series follows everyday life within a Russian-speaking school community in Dubai. The children grow up between languages, cultures, and identities. For many, Russia exists mainly through stories told by their parents, while their own lives unfold elsewhere. Through classrooms, corridors, play, and quiet moments of reflection, the series explores how children navigate inherited narratives and gradually form their own sense of belonging.
