Description
This is a top-down drone capture of a humpback whale diving back under the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean just after she took a deep breath of air. Taken just 100 yards from the shoreline of Southampton, NY, USA.
The wind was coming from the south which created very calm conditions. The sun was bright, and the skies were clear which allowed light rays to diffuse through the water and light up the up the submerged areas of the whale's head and tail.
