Description
A sculptural study of the dancer’s body and tools—feet, hands, thighs—shaped by light, at times matte, at times grazing. The pigments embrace tension, effort, rest, and even spirit. Wood and flesh, bark and skin, grain and shadow intertwine and continue one another. Age and the wood’s fractures support the humble, tender body like a pedestal. It is an exchange between light and darkness, solidity and fracture: a union made whole by spirit.
